Pastor Keith Charles is a man dedicated to studying God’s Word and strengthening the local church. With a heart for discipleship and a calling to full-time ministry, Keith is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Ministry at Colorado Christian University, building upon his Associate’s degree in Leadership and Ministry from Grace Christian University.

A Unique Calling

While Keith’s roots are in the U.S. Navy and Law Enforcement, God has placed a specific and powerful calling on his life to serve the Latino community. Serving under the godly leadership of Pastora Adriana Reyes at Training For Life Church, Keith has been embraced by the congregation, earning the affectionate nickname (The Güero). This cross-cultural ministry is a testament to Keith’s belief that the Gospel transcends all borders and that his mission is to protect and serve the Kingdom of God alongside his brothers and sisters in the Latino community.

Foundational Experiences

Keith’s approach to the Gospel is deeply informed by a lifetime of service in high-stakes environments. He views spiritual life through the lens of “Foundational Experiences” that have uniquely prepared him for spiritual warfare and biblical leadership:

Military Service: Serving on the high-intensity flight deck of a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, Keith learned the essential values of discipline, vigilance, and the necessity of a “chain of command”—truths he now applies to the believer’s walk with Christ.

Law Enforcement: Across a distinguished 25-year career—ranging from patrol and motor officer to detective—Keith walked the “thin blue line,” gaining a profound, front-row seat to the human condition. These years spent bringing light into dark situations solidified his conviction that the world’s only true hope is the transformative grace of Jesus Christ.

Today’s Mission

Keith currently serves on the front lines of both his community and the Kingdom. While he continues his dedicated service in law enforcement, he is actively walking through the doors God is opening toward full-time ministry. Whether he is wearing the badge or standing behind the pulpit, his mission remains the same: to protect the vulnerable and equip the saints for daily victory.

As an emerging author and speaker, Keith is focused on writing content that bridges the gap between biblical theology and practical, everyday victory. He believes that God is a Master Craftsman, and he is committed to the “good work” of helping others see the beauty God is building in their own lives—even in the heat of life’s most difficult battles.
