Turn to God

In the midst of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the recent attack on Israel, and the political divide in the United States, it’s easy to feel like all hope is lost. However, I encourage you to seek God now more than ever before because prayer is the only way to bring about genuine change. “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16 NKJV).  We should acknowledge our sins and pray for each other so that we can be healed. Instead of focusing on the faults and shortcomings of others, we should first examine ourselves. When you look at yourself in the mirror, what do you see? Are you being judgmental? Are you praying for those who might have wronged you? Are you seeking guidance from God? Hope is a powerful force that can transform us even in the darkest times.
